René Winkin dirige la FEDIL qu’il a rejointe en 1991. Il y a été attaché économique, conseiller, puis secrétaire général dès 2006. Il a y aussi piloté les Affaires industrielles et assuré le secrétariat général du Groupement Pétrolier Luxembourgeois pendant 23 ans. Représentant l’industrie luxembourgeoise auprès de plusieurs organes consultatifs et décisionnels nationaux et européens, il est membre du comité exécutif de l’UEL, siège au Conseil Économique et Social ainsi qu’au conseil d’administration de l’Office du Ducroire Luxembourg, du Fonds de compensation et de la Fondation luxembourgeoise des ingénieurs, architectes et industriels. Depuis 2025, René est également président de Luxcontrol a.s.b.l. Membre du Comité Exécutif de BusinessEurope, il a activement contribué aux travaux de la commission des 'Affaires industrielles'.

René Winkin is General Manager of FEDIL, which he joined in 1991. He has served as economic attaché, adviser, and then General Secretary since 2006. He also headed the Industrial Affairs and held the position of General Secretary of the Groupement Pétrolier Luxembourgeois for 23 years. Representing Luxembourg’s industry in various national and European bodies, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the UEL, sits on the Conseil Économique et Social as well as the boards of the Office du Ducroire Luxembourg, the Fonds de Compensation, and the Luxembourg Foundation of Engineers, Architects, and Industrialists. Since 2025, René has also served as President of Luxcontrol a.s.b.l. As a member of the Executive Committee of BusinessEurope, he has actively contributed to the work of the ‘Industrial Affairs’ commission.

René Winkin leitet die FEDIL, der er 1991 beigetreten ist. Dort war er Wirtschaftsattaché, Berater und seit 2006 Generalsekretär. Zudem leitete er die Abteilung „Industrielle Angelegenheiten“ und war 23 Jahre Generalsekretär des Groupement Pétrolier Luxembourgeois. Als Vertreter der luxemburgischen Industrie engagiert er sich in nationalen und europäischen Gremien, ist Mitglied des Exekutivkomitees der UEL, sitzt im Wirtschafts- und Sozialrat sowie im Verwaltungsrat des Office du Ducroire Luxembourg, des Fonds de Compensation und der Luxemburger Stiftung der Ingenieure, Architekten und Industriellen. Seit 2025 ist er zudem Präsident von Luxcontrol a.s.b.l. Im Exekutivkomitee von BusinessEurope hat er aktiv an der Kommission für „Industrielle Angelegenheiten“ mitgewirkt.
